We booked them before everything was finished (the patio area, sound system, lighting, etc.), and we were delighted that everything was finished on time and turned out even better than we imagined. Jill and Phoebe went above and beyond before our day and during, and were so supportive and creative and an absolute joy to work with. I 100% recommend booking with Alta House if you want a beautiful basically all-inclusive venue, conveniently stocked with decor and other items for your use, and a very helpful staff. It was an amazing experience to have our perfect day at Alta House.”

“I honestly cannot say enough good things about this venue! Phoebe and Jessie were SO helpful during the whole process. I was able to visit the venue several times and Phoebe helped me put together my center pieces about a month before to help the weekend go smoothly. She was always ready to answer any questions I had throughout the year of planning. We got the weekend wedding package and it was so nice to have the venue for the whole weekend and to have carl's cabin and the bridal salon. There were some unexpected changes about a week before the wedding but they were handled by Phoebe and the other staff very smoothly. Phoebe and Jesse were also so helpful during the wedding weekend, so easy to get along with and overall very nice, funny, bubbly and resourceful. I would highly recommend this venue and staff and would have my wedding there again. The guests also really enjoyed the venue! Also, the shuttle they provided for our hotel guests was great, and we had a small issue with our caterer being late and Phoebe handled it right away.”

“My husband and I were married at the Alta House May 29th 2021. Upon first arrival we were skeptical but the moment you walk in the door you are transported to a BEAUTIFUL venue. This place is so impressive. They have an extensive "borrow closet" so say goodbye to spending ungodly amounts of money on decor. Oh, and feel free to decorate this place HOWEVER you want to. Only rule, don't damage anything. This is your blank canvas. On top of all of this, Phoebe and Jessie are amazing. Your contract says they aren't "wedding planners" or "day-of-coordinators", but these women went out of their way to make sure my day was perfect and everything was taken care of. Contacting my vendor when an issue raised its ugly head, and helping decorate with my wonderful family and friends. They were gracious when I didn't fill out their planner, didn't bat an eye, and took the time to pour over my details with me. Schedule a tour, and book this baby. Thank you Phoebe, Jessie, and Dana. “What a fantastic wedding venue destination. From the moment we booked the wedding venue for the weekend, we felt like the wonderful staff was family. They bent over backwards to ensure our wedding was just as we had wanted-romantic with lots of candelabras and candles. So much in fact that they installed a special system along the center beam and walls and they spent an entire day putting up tulle and lighting along the ceiling of their reception area. The facility is immaculately maintained and tastefully decorated. One exceptional aspect is that no matter what the weather does, your day will be perfect since they have both inside and outside areas. We chose to have our wedding outside under the beautiful pergola with louvers that can be adjusted based on the weather conditions. Our cocktail hour and reception was in doors but then we were back outside for the dance under the well lit pergola in many color options. The staff takes care of all the area transitions between the events of the night.
We could not have wished for a better experience and staying for the weekend was such a relief allowing us to be under the same roof the entire weekend. Having casual time to decorate on Friday and then allowing our rehearsal dinner there was a stress reliever. Then, on Saturday morning we could do our final touches and get ready on site. Not having to worry about traveling from the location after the wedding was wonderful as we were all so tired. We casually finished packing up a little on Sunday morning and were well rested. Thank You Alta House-our wedding was perfect and you all had a huge part in making that happen.”

This venue is absolutely beautiful and accommodating. Being able to stay for the whole weekend made everything a breeze. Above all that the staff is amazing! They made the wedding day 100% perfect and we could not ask for better. They make sure you know everything you need to for your special day and then help make sure it stays a perfect day.
The setup is fantastic. Love how flexible it is to work with different sizes and changes possible to fit any need.
I have never stopped raving about this place to anyone who will listen.

“Alta House is the full package and more, literally! We found Alta House last year after visiting a few venues and feeling like we would never find “the one”. But once we walked through the doors of the huge Great Room, we just knew we had finally found it! We booked the full wedding weekend, which included overnight stays in Carl’s Cabin and the Bridal Salon on site so everything was convenient and in one place, especially nice since we’re from out of town. We were able to stay the night before and the morning after the wedding so we didn’t feel rushed after the reception to clean up and get out. The Alta staff worked with us from day 1 to make sure our day was exactly how we pictured it, including letting us borrow items from their “borrow closet”, setting up and tearing down everything for us, and even suggested some vendors when we struggled to find them. They stayed in thorough contact through the whole process and even afterwards to make sure we knew exactly what to expect the whole time. Their contract and pricing were clear and concise which made the booking process super easy! We got to watch the venue come together from the beginning and turn into the place fairytales are made of! We continue to get compliments about our wedding day even almost 4 months later because Alta House made it just that special. We love Alta House and appreciate them more than they know for making our dreams come true!!”

“I attended a reception last weekend. I showed up late to the reception. It was dark, I couldn’t see how it looked on the outside but the inside was beautiful, warm and inviting on all levels. Loved how the dance floor looked. Plenty of seating for those who didn’t want to dance. Also considering it was first part of July, so very hot/humid outside, but walking into the downstairs were the bar was, they had the air at a comfortable setting so people could come in and cool off for a bit. I also liked they had plenty of bathrooms for a big party. All the people working at the venue were all friendly and considerate. I didn’t catch anyone’s names. They also provided a shuttle to/from a hotel in town that guests were staying at. I would definitely recommend this even center to anyone in the area looking for a venue.”

“Alta House Events Center finished in 2020 is a beautiful place to have your wedding or event. In front, the landscaping, exterior paint and finish selections, and focal water feature are so inviting. There are many photo ops here. The main floor can be set up for the wedding or reception. The lower level is set up for reception complete with a bar. The rear lower level walk out patio is an oasis complete with water features and covered exterior area for an outdoor wedding. Was very pleased with all of the areas. Thank you!”
