We offer an open catering policy, allowing couples to bring in the caterer of their choice. We do require that all caterers provide a copy of their insurance or a catering license. For food trucks or smaller vendors, SafeServ certification is accepted in place of a license. If a family chooses to provide their own food, they must obtain their own insurance coverage and take full responsibility for food service, including setup, teardown, serving, and cleanup.

Plan to spend at least 90 minutes with an Alta House Coordinator during your tour. You’ll explore the full property, including the Great Room, Emily’s Patio, the Bridal Salon, Carl’s Cabin, Timberline East Pond, and Thirty Acre Park. Our goal is to help you envision your day, answer your questions, and find the perfect date while welcoming you into the Alta House family.

Once you book, we begin our onboarding process. You’ll receive access to the Alta House Online Planner, which includes a planning checklist and our preferred vendor list. From there, we’ll schedule a visit to the Borrow Closet, where you can select décor items for your event. We also host dedicated planning sessions for floor plans and design layouts, as well as bar consultations to help you choose signature cocktails. On your wedding day, our coordinators are on-site to manage vendors, ensure your timeline runs smoothly, and handle full setup of Alta House décor—featuring over 10,000 items available for use.
